When you have nothing more to give, perhaps it’s time to give yourself a second chance. Given the recent events within the United States (e.g., hurricanes, horrific floods, mass shootings, horrendous California fires, and for me personally, the unexpected death of a friend of 35 years) underscoring the uncertainty of our time on earth, I’ve decided to keep this week’s BLOG short and to the point.
I’d like to encourage you to take the next few minutes to allow yourself to envision what you want your life to look like. For a moment, contemplate where you would go if you allowed yourself to go. In short, do what you want to do, because you have only one life and one chance to be the person you want to be. Life is all too short and in the end we spend much too much time worrying about things that either don’t matter over time or that we can’t change despite our best efforts. Sadly, for many, it’s what we never saw coming that executes our final blow…
So here you go. Here’s my gift to you today; five minutes to spend anyway you like. Get up and dance or sit down and take a breath the choice is totally yours. What will make you happy or put a smile on someone else’s face within the next five minutes? I’ll tell you how I’m going to spend my next five minutes…I’m going to kiss my sweetie…4:59 – 4:58 – 4:57…
