What’s one issue or task that if you got it done by the end of today would be a solid win? This is a wild card day. Anything that would bring a level of satisfaction or alleviate stress by its completion is fair game. The catch is if you write it down you’ve got to complete it by midnight tonight. No excuses or pushouts for tomorrow morning. No “I’ll start it today and finish it another day” type of goal.
Nope, no can do; it has to be a something that will give you a solid sense of completion today. Why? Because again, without getting too psychological, the feelings that come with the successful completion of a task release happy hormones and those happy hormones aid in keeping leaders from seeking similar relief from less optimal sources and that matters.
